The CyberDisc 339 Clincher is the mountaineering wheelset in a class of its own! With a weight of only 1080 grams, it is extremely easy to accelerate and is perfect for the steepest ramps. Based on the Cyberdisc 338, the 339 does everything a little better. With the same weight, the inner rim width has increased to 21 millimeters and the 39 millimeter high rims have also become one millimeter higher. The bulbous rim profiles with a maximum outer width of 27 millimeters integrate the tires aerodynamically and ensure that the advantage gained on the mountain can also be maintained on the descent and on the flat kilometers to the finish. In addition, the hookless inner profile allows the tire to close almost seamlessly with the rim and reduces air turbulence to a minimum. In addition, the hookless rims are significantly more stable in the event of possible punctures. The asymmetrical arrangement of the spoke holes results in more even spoke tension, which increases the reliability of the wheelset. The rims are of course tubeless-ready in order to be able to use the better puncture protection and better rolling resistance properties of modern tubeless tires.
The proven Extralite CyberHubs SPD-3 hubs rotate in the center. These little works of art are made of 7075TX aluminum and have been painstakingly CNC milled. The high-quality stainless steel bearings are double sealed so that dirt and water have no chance of penetrating inside. A pawl freewheel in the rear wheel hub provides propulsion. Two pawls engage in a 32-fold titanium toothing and bring you quickly forward. The 15 mm thick oversized axle at the front guarantees enormous rigidity and improves steering behavior over the long term.
